Bob Hallett is Great Big Sea's only true St. Johnsman. Considered by many to be the most
talented member of the band, Bob plays bouzouki, tin and low whistles, button accordion and fiddle on stage. He also
plays mandolin, guitar, concertina and bagpipes, and occasionally sings back-up vocals. Hailing from a very musically-talented
family, Bob began by playing baritone saxophone in his school band. Like Alan and Sean, Bob too graduated from MUN with
a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. Bob can always be seen on the far left stage, and is the quietest and most serious
member of the band, although he is drown to have quite a witty sense of humor.
